Basic FCB Prerequisite ICEE Academy Training
This Basic FCB Prerequisite Training course provides technicians with the fundamental knowledge required before attending the ICEE Academy Basic class. It covers the essential systems, components, and procedures involved in producing a high‑quality Frozen Carbonated Beverage (FCB). The course is divided into 8 lessons, each building the foundation for understanding syrup handling, CO₂ management, water systems, drink preparation, and proper tubing/clamp usage.
- Hydrocarbon refrigerants are becoming increasingly popular due to the low Global Warming Potential (GWP) and have zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). As a service provider ICEE is starting to see more and more systems that are charged with HC’s. This course will provide helpful information on the use of Hydrocarbon (HC) refrigerants.
- This course will cover how to make repairs safely and correctly on refrigeration systems containing R-290 refrigerant.
